Jahrbuch für fränkische Landesforschung (Yearbook for Franconian Regional Research)

The yearbook has been published since 1935. The publisher is the Institut für fränkische Landesforschung (Institute for Franconian Regional Research) at the University of Erlangen, which was founded in 1932/33 and merged in 1996 as the Franconian Section of the Central Institute for Regional Research at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

The yearbook is the most important academic journal for Franconian regional history. It covers topics from every era from all regions of Franconia.

Information on the project

The online edition of the Zeitschrift für bayerische Landesgeschichte is a joint project of the Franconian Section of the Central Institute for Regional Research at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (in German language) and the Bavarian State Library.
