Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Felix - Works
The compositions of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1809-1847) were published for the first time in the form of a systematic complete edition in the years 1874 to 1877. The edition of his complete works, divided into 157 volumes, was compiled and edited by Julius Rietz (1812-1877), a musician who was Mendelssohn's friend, and published by the publishing house Breitkopf & Härtel. It has formed part of the BSB's core music collection since its publication. The collection is captured by OMR (Optical Music Recognition).
